My breastfeeding journey started with the birth of my first son in 1985. I have 3 adult sons who were all breastfed long term and my 1st and 2nd sons were tandem fed for 6 months. I became a Le Leche League Leader when my 3rd son was born in East London. I have 17 years experience working in a postnatal ward of a local hospital in Claremont (Kingsbury), where I was able to use my passion to work with new Moms assisting them to get off to a good start with breast feeding, by educating the Moms and staff alike.
My aim is to “Empower moms to achieve their breastfeeding goals” by supporting them in a gentle, reassuring manner and acknowledging that they are their own experts.
